Dear Liza,
Illness is almost always depressing. Acceptance is a process. And to this day I have my downtimes and troubled periods. It is with gratitude that I accept each day I am made new by the Lord. Let us count our days with joy, for each new morning is a chance to laugh, a chance to love, a chance to live well. And every single time we rant and rave and cry---we will always know we can do better. Trust that God is in control. |

I hope someday i'll have the same courage like yours, knowing that you're on the advanced stage, it serves as an eye opener for me... from the very beginning i was very depressed and troubled about the illness, worried about my kids. about what will happen tomorrow.. but now.. after i read your blog, it gives me a wider perspective, it gives me hope... oftentimes i'm trying to be brave but oftentimes also i failed.. since i was just diagnosed and im on my 36th day pa lang,, still a long way to go para marating ko ang narating mo.. I hope someday I can also be a source of inspiration to others.. God bless us all.. and i will continue to pray for you and your kids.. Continue to be beautiful.. Take care.. |
